Located at the outskirts of Pulau Menjangan coast are unspoiled coral reefs whose depth varies between 40 m and 60 m, and length between 100 m and 150 m. This place is universally acknowledged as one of the best for snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming. Also, in the region surrounding Amed reef, you will get to see many different kinds of gorgonians and sponges. Here, you can also see other marine forms like Blue Spotted Ray, Schools of Barracuda, Angelfish, Moray eel, Surgeonfish, and Parrotfish. Towards the northeastern region of Bali lies Tulamben. This place is ideal for scuba divers too. Here you will come across different types of marine life including Hammerhead sharks, Whale sharks and Mola-Mola sunfish. If you are in the midst of Nusa Penida and Bali you can locate a small island called as Nusa Lembongan. To be precise, this small island is located on the Badung Strait. Like other areas in Bali, this place too offers ideal conditions for scuba diving. During the seasonal migrations of Manta rays and Mola Mola, this place turns out to be a prolific one to explore. No wonder then scuba divers from around the globe are hooked to it for the major part of the season. There are many other places in and around Bali that you can explore and use for scuba diving.
